Kofi B., born Kofi Boakye, is a pianist, producer and actor from Akron, Ohio, whose music brings together jazz, R&B and soul. He began playing piano at age 8 and later studied at Berklee College of Music. His talent earned him the $20,000 grand prize at the Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night competition in 2022, along with an appearance as a pianist in the Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
