LOS ANGELES — Jody Gerson, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group, was honored at Clive Davis’ annual Pre-Grammy Gala, receiving a special recognition and respect during one of Grammy week’s most exclusive events.
The invitation-only celebration brought together music’s most influential figures to acknowledge Gerson’s leadership and decades-long commitment to songwriters and publishers. Under her direction, Universal Music Publishing Group has expanded its global reach, championing creators across genres while navigating a rapidly evolving music landscape.
Gerson received strong industry support throughout the evening, with attendees including representatives from Top Dawg Entertainment, rising star Doechii, music executives Elliot Grainge and Lucian Grainge, comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish, and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. Artists Shaboozey, Post Malone, and Machine Gun Kelly were also among those present.
